Are you a Metrology Technician? We are looking for you!

We are seeking a candidate with expert competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, and who is confident working with advanced measuring equipment such as CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and articulated arm coordinate measuring machines. You have experience in offline programming of measuring equipment and are accustomed to working with high precision in technically demanding environments. You are communicative, pedagogical, and have a talent for explaining technical contexts to others. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is essential. Previous experience in training or mentoring colleagues, as well as experience in heavy or advanced industry, is considered an asset.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Lead metrology-related tasks during Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and order reviews.
• Provide support in drawing interpretation during manufacturing.
• Train staff in technical drawing standards, as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Further train inspectors in the use of CMMs and articulated arm measuring devices.
• Offline programming of CMMs and articulated arm measuring devices.
• Participate in the preparation of measurement reports.
• Perform measurements using articulated arms and CMMs.
• Calibration of measuring tools.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to efficient resource utilization of energy and raw materials.
• You have the authority to halt production or delivery in case of quality deviations.
